Soon to be appearing in the Things I Have Driven series perhaps will be a light van. One of these has been on my mind for a while as a second vehicle, general runabout and useful for business and domestic carting stuff about.
I have owned a light van before; my Moggie 1000 van from the mid 70s (and soon to be featured here in the Cars blogs) and have more recend experience of a Transit Connect from a day working with Unipart, and I have driven dozens of mid and large sized vans over the last 40 years.
So I am actively now looking for something, maybe Astra, Partner or similar, and for around the £800 mark. If any readers want to pass on a contact, please do. And watch this space for more news.
